Q – I have registered for my Communities, now what?

A – Login for the first time:

Upon Login you will be taken to a page for you to confirm your profile information and select your preferences in terms of email notifications that you receive from us about contacts who want to connect with you, events that may be of interest etc. If you do not select your preferences the default settings will prevail.

Now navigate to the Member Area Home by clicking on the ThoughtLeaders4 logo at the top left-hand side of your screen. You will be able to access all other member features from here.

You can also access your specific Community in the Hubs & Upgrade tab in the orange menu bar.

TL4 Tip: For added ease when logging in save your login auto-save your username and password so that they pre-populate the login fields.

TL4 Tip: Easily navigate back to the Member Area Home by clicking on the ThoughtLeaders4 logo at the top left-hand side of your screen.

Q – How do I search for other members?

A – Using the Membership Search Directory:

The Membership Directory is available to all TL4 Members.

 TL4 Tip: You can find and be found by other members; however, your level of membership will dictate how much of your profile and expertise is visible to other members as well as whether you are able to connect with them directly.

The directory can be accessed from the Members Home Area or the Your Membership > Info > Search Directory in the orange menu bar.

 You can search our database by:

• Name
• Country
• Profession
• Firm
• Job Title.

Q – How do I access all my membership features?

A – Use your Community specific Members Hub:

Each Community Hub can be accessed from the Members Home Area or the Community Hubs tab in the orange menu bar.

 Click the Enter Hub button to:

• Book events
• Access the Video archive 
• Access the Knowledge Hub & Community Magazine
• Access Community Members & Next Gen Groups

Q – I want to post and interact with other members. How do I access my Community Group?

A – How to Use Groups:

The Community Next Gen Groups are available to all Community Members.

 TL4 Tip: All Community members can access their Community group, but your level of membership will dictate whether you can post share or like content.

Enter your specific Community Hub click on the Community or Next Gen Groups and request access to the group. An admin will then approve your request.

Post, share and connect with other members!

Alternatively, you can access your Community Group by clicking on my profile in the blue menu at the top right-hand side of your screen.

This will take you to your Profile Page. Click Groups in the orange menu bar to see your Community Groups and request access.

Q – How do I edit my profile or view my account info?

A – Use the Your Membership tab in the orange menu bar:

You can view information about your account from Your Membership > Info > Membership Level in the orange menu bar.

Here you will see what your membership level is and date of expiry.

From this page use the tabs running down the left-hand side of your screen to edit your profile, view payment history, change your notification preferences.

Alternatively, you can edit your profile by clicking on manage profile in the blue menu at the top right-hand side of your screen.

To navigate back to the Member Home Area using the ThoughtLeaders4 logo at the top left-hand side of your screen.

TL4 Tip: Keep your profile up-to-date. This ensures that other members can find and connect with you. Remember that your level of membership will dictate how much of your profile and expertise is visible to other members.

Q – How do I book an event through the members portal?

A – Booking events through the Events feature of your Community Hub:

Access the Community Hub from the Members Home Area or the Community Hubs tab in the orange menu bar.

Navigate to the Events feature. This will take you to the Events Page for that specific Community. Here you will be able to browse and book all upcoming event.

You can also view our entire upcoming event calendar across all three communities from Your Membership > TL4 Events Calendar in the orange menu bar.

Q – How do I see which events I have booked?

A – Using the Your Events tab

See upcoming as well as all past events you have attended. Navigate to the page from Your Membership > Info > Your Events in the orange menu bar.

Q – How do access the Video Archive?

A – Use your Community specific Members Hub:

Access the Community Hub from the Members Home Area or the Community Hubs tab in the orange menu bar.

Navigate to the Video Archive feature. This will take you to the Video Archive Page for that specific Community. Here you will be able to browse and view all past event videos.

TL4 Tip: Your level of membership will dictate whether you can view videos.

Q – How do I upgrade my membership?

A – Submit an “Upgrade Your Membership Form”

If you would like to access all our Membership Portal has to offer, please fill in our Upgrade Your Membership Form and an admin will process your request.

Simply click the Upgrade tab in the orange menu bar or find the Upgrade form here.
